    Winter Blues..

Curious on where to start in your garden? If you have frost blanket over more sensitive plants that could be mushy, go ahead and take those off so you can prune! You can leave your frost blanket on for the rest of the winter. Everything else like plastic & bedsheets needs to come off immediately.

To Prune or Not To Prune?

The rule of thumb when you’re battling a freeze in the middle of winter is that we want to be minimally invasive to the plant. You only want to prune if your plant is mushy. This usually happens with cactus, agaves & alocasia. If your plant has dried brown leaves, go ahead and leave it so it can help protect during the rest of winter!
