Kokedama Workshop
November 20, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 11:30 am
$15
The Japanese word ‘Kokedama’ translates to “moss ball” and is an ancient gardening tradition that offers a more natural alternative to a pot. The round shape of Kokedama is formed by covering the roots of the chosen plant with moss & potting soil.
The craft of kokedama is a reflection of the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, the art of appreciating beauty in the world’s natural imperfection.
In this class we will learn how to create the kokedama mixture & how to wrap your moss ball. This is a fairly easy process & one that you can continue to do in your own garden! In this class you will receive all materials including a bromeliad.
